I loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. the onsen was great, with not too many people around. the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient. It was quite a walk uphill from the bus station, which was tiring, especially when we arrived with our luggage.

tsukie no fune blew me away! stunning ryokan with incredible onsen. staff were beyond charming and the shabu-shabu + Japanese breakfast were delicious. free shuttle to the town made up for its remote location. definitely coming back for a relaxing getaway!
Private onsen would've been nice.

As youngsters, we loved the variety of onsens available every day and the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. the Kobe beef shabu-shabu dinner was a highlight, and the basic wine list at fair prices was a pleasant surprise. the attentive staff took care of our special requests perfectly.
Felt safe and secure, no complaints whatsoever.

Had a great New Year's experience at a traditional Japanese ryokan. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of stepping back in time. The onsen was a highlight, with beautiful outdoor baths and a relaxing ambiance. The location was convenient, with a free shuttle to the train station and just a short walk to town. Enjoyed the cozy futon bed and the opportunity to experience a bit of Japanese culture.
The walk to town was a bit hilly and challenging, especially during the winter season. It would have been more convenient if there was a closer option for dining and shopping.
